| Objectives
| At the end of the course the candidate should be able to: o Understand the principles of a QMS. o Understand the principles and procedures to become a Traffic Management Operative. o Understand basic Health & Safety legislation and their responsibilities. o Be aware of safe working practices. o Understand and be aware of referenced documentation within the industry. o Be able to work as part of a team to install, maintain and remove traffic management, o Be able to set out a Chapter 8 closure from given datum.

| A multiple choice question paper is utilised and a pass mark of 70%.
| Targeted group
| This course has been designed for all traffic management employees and their line managers who are involved in the installation, maintenance and removal of traffic management on high-speed roads. Employees of works associated, civil engineers, term maintenance contractors, etc. could also benefit.
| Pre course requirements
| Traffic Management employees should have at least 3 months industry experience.
